GIVE GET CARE

help loved ones connect

Send your devices to healthcare workers AND CONNECT LOVES ONES without leaving your house

Every hospital has implemented a mandatory no visitor policy. Doctors and nurses would like to help patients connect with their loved ones and are requesting our help. Please donate a wifi communication friendly video chat device so patients and loved ones can stay connected. In times of isolation and need, connection can make a difference.

Countless patients are admitted to hospitals without any access to their loved ones. This is an even more pressing reality with the COVID-19 pandemic as patients are not allowed to be admitted with any loved ones. Families and patients are forcibly separated and cannot communicate with their loved ones before they are intubated, while intubated or before they die. It’s heartbreaking and terrible.

If you, anyone you know or your organization/company has old or new tablet(s) or wifi video capable device(s) that works well for this purpose, can you please get involved, fill out a form wait for a match and deliver it so families and loved ones can connect with those who care about them? This would really help them and patients in the future

GIVE CARE
GET CARE

HOW IT WORKS

  • If you are a healthcare worker, fill out the "GET CARE" form so we know your details and make a match to donors.
  • If you have a device to donate, fill out the "GIVE CARE" form, and we'll email you with a healthcare team match so you can shop your device(s) directly to them.
  • Our team, much like similar PPE sourcing efforts will verify the identities and sends a match via email to the donor.* The donor ships it out (they can use USPS Click-N-Ship to schedule a pickup) and sends a tracking number. We share the tracking number with the healthcare worker.

*We will make sure to verify the identities of the healthcare workers before making any matches. These devices are not for purchase or for sale. Those who are matched with a healthcare worker are expected to cover the cost of shipping & handling.
